Hand-carved soapstone with a Tree of Life motif
The Hamsa Soapstone Incense Holder is a round, 9x6 cm piece with a detailed Tree of Life carved into the centre of a hamsa silhouette. Each stand is shaped by hand from natural soapstone sourced in India, so the grey-brown shading, subtle grain and carving lines are never identical twice. The 135 g weight keeps the stick perfectly steady, and the compact footprint fits a bedside table, bookshelf or coffee table with ease.
How to use it
Slide a standard incense stick into the central hole, light the tip and blow out the flame after a few seconds so it smoulders gently. The perforated hamsa frame catches falling ash on the tray below, so the surface underneath stays clean. Expect roughly 20 to 40 minutes of burn time per stick, depending on its blend.
Care and placement
Wipe dust away with a dry microfibre cloth and empty the ash tray every few uses. Soapstone is soft and porous: avoid submerging it, keep harsh chemicals away and protect it from knocks. The Tree of Life design works beautifully on a yoga altar, meditation corner or reading nook, especially paired with warm woods and natural linen.
