A flurry of snowflakes on red
This red fabric bag is covered in snowflakes from top to bottom: white flakes mingle with deeper red ones, as if thick snow were falling. It is made of polyester with a slightly linen-like surface, and the close-up photo shows the weave clearly.
No paper, just one pull of the cord
A thin red satin cord gathers the top of the bag. Put the present inside, pull the cord and the wrapping is done. The cord comes out on both sides of the bag, so you can draw it closed with both hands at once and tie the ends in a bow if you like. Opening it is just as easy, with no paper to tear, so little ones and grandparents alike can manage it.
Books, scarves and St Nicholas' Day treats
The bag is 20 cm wide and 30 cm high, measuring 25 cm from the bottom to the cord. A book, a scarf, a pair of gloves or a hat will fit, as will a small boxed gift. Filled with sweets, it makes a cheerful St Nicholas' Day parcel. If you are putting together presents for a nursery group or the office party, a row of matching red bags looks neat and festive.
