A starter kit for smudge burning
This smudge set is the classic version without floral additions: the clean, herbal character of White Sage takes the lead. Everything is together in a 19.5 × 12.5 × 4 cm box, so you do not have to buy accessories separately. It is ideal if you are new to smudge burning, or if you want to introduce someone to this tradition.
What the set contains
The box contains a White Sage bundle, two Palo Santo sticks, a heat-resistant abalone shell and a wooden tripod, plus a six-language flyer (NL, EN, DE, FR, IT, ES). The Palo Santo sticks can also be used on their own: their sweet, woody scent suits a calm evening or shared conversation well.
When to bring it out
Many people use it after moving in, at the end of cleaning, or when closing a difficult chapter, because it noticeably refreshes the air at home. You can use it whenever you wish to take a small moment for yourself or your family, or prepare for meditation or yoga. The version without flowers is especially fitting for those who prefer the clean, herbal scent of sage.
Step by step use
Place the abalone shell on the wooden tripod, light one end of the bundle, then blow out the flame so only embers remain. Hold the bundle over the shell and direct the smoke with your hand or a feather. Use the Palo Santo sticks the same way. Always work on a heat-resistant surface, never leave it unattended, and keep it away from children and pets. Ventilate the room well.
Storage and care
After use, wait until every part has fully cooled. Remove the ash from the shell and wipe the wooden tripod with a dry cloth. Keep the remaining bundle and Palo Santo sticks in their box, or in a dry, closed place, so they last for a long time.
