Reliable packaging for freshly roasted coffee — 9x18 cm (125 g)
If you work with home roasting or small-lot coffees, storing a 125 g portion is a real challenge. This bag is designed specifically for the role: the aroma valve set on the front lets carbon dioxide formed after roasting escape, but does not allow the outside air — which would make the coffee taste flat within a few days — to enter.
How the aroma valve works
The one-way valve is essentially a tiny pressure equaliser. Freshly roasted beans release CO₂ for days — without a valve the bag would inflate or burst open. The valve therefore preserves both the shape of the package and the longer shelf life of the coffee.
What you receive
- 1 piece kraft coffee bag with aroma valve
- Size: 9x18 cm
- Capacity: 125 g of roasted coffee
- Resealable closure (tin-tie or zip)
- Flat bottom, stands on a shelf
What to use it for
Primarily for freshly roasted coffee. If you work with a small roaster or roast beans at home, this bag keeps the flavour profile — beans stored in a 200 ml jar already fade after 1-2 weeks, while in this bag a 3-4 week opened lifespan is realistic. Also good for specialty coffees: delicate single-origin roasts benefit most from valved packaging.
Care and storage
- Store in a cool, dry place protected from light
- Not for the fridge (temperature swings hurt the coffee)
- Close the top after each use so the valve can do its work
- Do not expose to direct sunlight
