This pet bed is 60 cm long and 45 cm wide, with padded sides 17 cm high. The outside is a brown polyester cover and the inside is soft plush, much like a teddy bear's fur. It is filled with synthetic fibre. You get one bed, made in China and meant for use indoors.
For a cat or a chihuahua-sized dog
A cat, or a dog the size of a chihuahua or Yorkshire terrier, fits in it. The raised edge runs all the way round and dips at the front, so your pet steps in rather than climbing over. If your pet likes to sleep leaning against something, it can rest its head on the side.
Before you choose, look at how much room your pet takes up when it sleeps curled up, and allow a few centimetres for the padded sides. If it looks tight, the same brown bed also comes in a 70 × 55 cm size.
Fits a small flat
The base is about the size of a large cushion. It fits beside an armchair, at the foot of the bed or in a corner of the hallway, and brown blends in with most furniture.
Weighing just 0.76 kg, the bed is easy to move. If you spend the day in the kitchen or living room and the evening in the bedroom, carry it along in one hand so your pet can sleep close by.
When it arrives
It comes vacuum-packed and pressed flat. Shake it out well, knead the sides and leave it in a warm room for a few days. In that time it regains its shape and the creases from the packaging smooth out.
For the first few nights, put an old jumper or blanket with a familiar smell inside. Many pets settle into a new bed sooner that way.
