The 10.5 x 7 cm blue brocade pouch
This small, ornately woven pouch is made in Nepal, of polyester base with a brocade pattern. The 10.5 x 7 cm stretched size fits a meditation pendulum, a few small pieces of jewellery (a ring, earrings, a pendant), a bracelet, or even some gemstone beads. The material is soft yet durable, so it does not scratch the items inside while remaining usable for a long time.
What you can use it for
Many ask for it to store a pendulum, as the brocade fabric protects the surface of the object from scratches and keeps it close to hand on the go. We have found that it also protects pairs of earrings or finer chains well when you place it in a pocket or bag while travelling. It is also suitable for storing gemstone beads or smaller tumbled stones, as the closure is a simple drawstring.
About the brocade pattern
East Asian brocade weaving is done with fine gold and coloured threads, giving the pouch a shiny, decorative effect. Care
If it becomes stained, hand-wash it in lukewarm soapy water and dry in shade. Do not put it in the washing machine, as the brocade threads may loosen. For ironing, we recommend a low temperature and avoid direct contact with the hot surface. The packaging is paper-based and recyclable.
