Six-Sided Amazonite Obelisk Point, approx. 11 cm

Six-sided amazonite obelisk point, about 11 cm tall. Its blue-green colour and pale veins vary by piece, and it stands on its own flat base.

This obelisk is cut from amazonite, with all six sides and the pointed tip polished smooth. It stands about 11 cm tall and was made in India. You receive one obelisk.

A blue-green stone named after the Amazon

Amazonite is a mineral of the feldspar family. It takes its name from the Amazon River, although nobody knows for certain whether it was ever found there. Its colour is pale green or turquoise blue, with fine whitish veins across the surface.

Because it is a natural stone, no two pieces are the same. The shade, the veining and the height vary a little, so the obelisk you receive will not look exactly like the one in the photo.

For a desk, a cabinet or beside the phone

Its flat base lets the obelisk stand up on its own. It fits on a desk beside the screen, on a windowsill or in a glass cabinet among other stones. If you already keep a few crystals, the blue-green colour sits well beside colourless clear quartz and purple amethyst. At about 11 cm it is also comfortable to hold.

By tradition amazonite is the stone of open, honest conversation. If you like that thought, place it where you talk most, on the living-room table or next to the phone.

A little softer than quartz

Amazonite is harder than glass but softer than quartz. If it knocks against clear quartz or amethyst in a box, they can scratch it, so store it separately or with a soft cloth in between.

Wipe off dust with a soft, dry cloth, and do not drop it on a hard floor, as the tip and edges can chip.
