Version 2 represents the highest level of finish in our series. The material and mass of the suede head are carefully chosen, and the shaft gives good balance in the hand. You receive a striker that retains its quality and the character of its tone even under intensive use over a very long time.
Why we call it premium
A combination of features makes it so: carefully selected suede on the head, the weight of the wooden shaft and the weight of the head harmonised with each other. The result is a tool that brings pleasure to an experienced hand as well. The subtle shades of the strike also come through.
Who it is mainly made for
For professional sound therapists and yoga teachers who use the tool every day and for whom the fine shades matter. Also for experienced home practitioners who have already discovered their own taste and want excellent quality from an everyday companion.
Tonal character
The soft suede head calls forth a soft, deep, rounded base tone in the bowl. Overtones build up slowly and finely. With continuous rubbing it draws out a particularly warm, long-lasting resonance. The difference compared with a simpler striker lies in the details.
Long life
One important result of the careful finish is that it wears slowly even under intensive use. With proper handling it can be your companion for decades. The shaft can occasionally be refreshed with a dry wipe, and the suede surface needs only dry dusting.
What is included in the package
We ship the striker on its own. Our range includes matching bowls and support cushions. If you would also like to build a discerning set for the long term, we will gladly help you choose – write to us or call us with confidence.
