Sound and character
This mini mallet is built for the smallest, most delicate metal singing bowls — up to 300 g, about 10 cm in diameter. Its weight and diameter are just enough to awaken the natural overtones of small bowls, yet it never sounds intrusive. The beech handle gives a fine, stable grip, while the yew wood head delivers a feather-light, clean attack.
How to use
The mini mallet is perfect for head-area massage, intimate sound rituals, and solo bowl playing where soft, pure tone is the goal. Hold the handle loosely between thumb and index finger and tap the rim with a short downward stroke. For a continuous hum, walk the mallet around the outer rim with steady pressure.
