Specifications
This large singing bowl mallet is made of beechwood, with a length of 22 cm, a head diameter of 4 cm and a weight of around 200 g. The handle is turned from solid beechwood with high-quality craftsmanship, made in Germany. The mallet is designed specifically for singing bowls weighing 1000–1500 g, suitable both for striking and for rubbing along the rim of the bowl.
Sound and character
The hardness and density of beechwood are ideal for activating heavier singing bowls. The mallet brings out a firm, full fundamental tone from the bowl while remaining gentle enough to let the overtones speak. Its size and weight are well balanced: enough momentum to set the whole bowl vibrating, but not so much that finer nuances are overwhelmed. Circular rubbing along the rim creates a long-lasting, floating sound.
How to use
The large mallet can be used for sound massage, sound therapy, meditation practice and group sessions alike. You can strike the bowl with a soft motion near the rim to bring out the fundamental tone, or rub the outer rim with steady, circular movements to achieve a continuous, floating sound. Its greater mass gives the right energy for the full sound of heavier bowls.

Care tips
- Always strike close to the rim of the bowl, not its centre.
- When rubbing, apply even pressure with a circular motion.
- Do not use it on bowls outside the stated weight range — a different mallet size may be needed.
- Never strike people or animals with the mallet: the larger the mallet, the greater the force.
- Store in a dry place so the wood does not dry out or swell.
