A pack of 3 pouches, each taking its shape from a sheep. Their round bodies with wavy edges measure about 15.5 x 15.5 cm and are 1 cm deep, with a pink face, two floppy ears, big round eyes and a curly, colourful tuft of yarn on top of the head. The outside is wool felt and the inside has a cotton lining. A zip closes the top, with a felt ball on the pull. Handmade in Nepal.
Assorted colour pairs
The photos show a light blue body with a purple tuft, a charcoal grey body with a red tuft and a white body with a mustard tuft. Which pairings go into a pack, and how many of each, varies from pack to pack, and they can't be chosen individually. As each is made by hand, the tuft and the eyes vary a little from pouch to pouch.
Curly tuft, wavy edge
The tuft on the sheep's head is made of small curly loops of yarn that you can feel under your fingers. The edge of the pouch is cut in wavy curves, which makes the body look like a woolly fleece. Wool felt doesn't fray, so the wavy shape lasts.
A palm-sized pouch for small things
At 15.5 cm it holds cards, keys, coins and a lipstick. If you are always hunting for your keys at the bottom of your bag, the curly tuft makes this pouch easy to find by touch.
A sweet gift for a child too
It makes a nice present for a child, with room for pocket money or a few small treasures. If you have siblings in mind, the 3 pouches mean a sheep for each. On a grown-up's desk it can hold paper clips, an eraser and other small office bits, so there is no rummaging in the drawer. Small hands can easily grip the felt ball on the zip pull.
Brush dust off with a soft brush. Keep them out of the washing machine, as wool felt can shrink and the tuft can lose its curl.
