The 46 cm tall, 19.5 cm diameter column is painted white and then partially scrubbed back, so the natural warm tone of the shaman wood shows through. The result is not a flat white but a lively, layered, softly weathered surface that suits Scandinavian, Provençal and minimalist interiors alike.
Where to place it
White recedes visually, letting the plant take the stage — perfect for homes where foliage is the star. Try it beside a bedroom window with a fern or orchid, next to a sofa holding a tall philodendron, in an entrance hall topped with a vase, or in a non-humid bathroom with a potted aloe.
Capacity and care
At 1.4 kg it sits firmly; the 19.5 cm top holds a 16-18 cm pot and 5-10 kg of plant comfortably. Avoid prolonged loads above 15 kg. Dust weekly and wipe gently with a damp cloth monthly, drying immediately. Skip abrasive scrubbing. If the surface greys over time, a thin white care cream — or a lightly applied fresh coat — restores the original character. Each piece is turned, painted and scrubbed by hand in 6-8 hours, so every scrubbing pattern is a little different.
