The seven pendants and their stones
You receive a set in which seven separate pendants are found. According to tradition, each piece is made from a stone linked with one of the chakras: in shades of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, deep blue and violet. The natural colour of the stones may differ slightly from the description, since each piece arrives with its own unique surface.
How you use the set
In the morning you may choose the pendant that suits your mood or your practice for the day. During a meditation session the stone kept close is a gentle companion and helps you to turn your attention toward a particular chakra. You may also wear the pendants one after another, so that a colour can be linked to each day of the week.
The chains and wearing comfort
Each pendant arrives with a simple chain that fits neatly around the neck. You may slightly adjust the length depending on the chain type, and the pendant looks well both above and beneath your clothing. The size of the pendants is such that they do not weigh on the neck during a longer session.
Gift and personal practice
The set may serve as a gift for someone who is just becoming acquainted with the chakras, and as a fine addition to an existing quiet practice. It may be a thoughtful gesture for a yoga teacher, a member of a meditation group or a close friend. You may also build it into your own practice if you wish to focus on a different chakra each week.
Care and storage
Wipe the pendants with a soft cloth and avoid strong chemicals. Avoid prolonged contact with water as well, because some stones may be sensitive to moisture. Store the set in a soft lined box or a fabric pouch so that the stones do not scratch one another.
