Seven small votive candles, each in the spirit of an archangel. This set ties together the seven main chakras and the archangels traditionally linked to them, each with its own essential-oil composition – an intimate series of lights for a meditation corner.
The seven archangels in tradition
In many traditions angels are known as messengers from higher realms. In this series each archangel is connected to a chakra:
- root chakra – Archangel Uriel, “Light from Heaven on Earth”: in tradition, his light brings stability, awareness and peaceful ascension. Scent: cassia, clove and nutmeg.
- sacral chakra – Archangel Chamuel, “Light of Trust”: in tradition, his light brings creativity, trust and passion. Scent: cedar, spruce and rosemary.
- solar plexus chakra – Archangel Jophiel, “Light of Equanimity”: in tradition, his light brings patience, positivity and serenity. Scent: bergamot, lime and grapefruit.
- heart chakra – Archangel Raphael, “Light of Love”: in tradition, his light brings an open heart and love. Scent: lavender, orange and tangerine.
- throat chakra – Archangel Michael, “Light of Truth”: in tradition, his light brings wise counsel and clear speech. Scent: Moroccan rose and chamomile.
- third eye chakra – Archangel Raziel, “Light of Wisdom”: in tradition, his light brings opening to the highest wisdom. Scent: lavender, spruce and chamomile.
- crown chakra – Archangel Gabriel, “Light of Clarity”: in tradition, his light brings clarity, peace and the awakening of the higher self. Scent: patchouli, labdanum and frankincense.
The candles give these themes light and scent; they promise no fact and make no medical claim.
Material and design
The votive candles are made of wax, scented with essential oils, measuring roughly 4.5 × 4 cm. The votive shape is the classic candle of meditation corners; for burning, place each in a votive glass holder. The set contains seven pieces, from the archangel of the root chakra to that of the crown.
How to use it
Ideal for chakra or angel meditation, where you can tune into one theme at a time, or as a thoughtful gift for anyone drawn to the angelic tradition. The candles can be burned one by one or together. Place them in heat-resistant votive holders on a stable surface.
Good to know
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from flammable objects, children and pets.
