The different proportions of the second variant
This snow globe candle holder is made with different proportions compared to the first variant — typically larger and with a more solid form, giving a more definite presence. Here too the top of the sphere has a hollowed recess for a standard tea-light. The inner satin shimmer of the crystal shows more strongly, and due to the larger surface, the scattering of light is also more spectacular. It is hand-carved in Morocco from a single selenite block.
The light effect of the larger pieces
When you light the tea-light, the warmth of the flame is distributed more slowly yet more intensively through the thicker sphere wall. Soft white light wanders along the satin stripes, and the whole sphere glows from within. In evening twilight the effect is especially beautiful: the piece gently fills a corner of the home with light. It projects a soft shadow onto a nearby wall.

Use only a standard tea-light — a larger candle or open flame can damage the selenite. Wipe out the cooled wax gently with a paper towel.
