The advantage of the larger size variant
This bowl is the larger variant of the round-shaped selenite pieces. Its diameter is bigger, so it offers more space for items stored inside — more jewellery pieces, a larger semi-precious stone collection, or even a whole "small landscape". The height is also proportionally larger, so it appears as a more definite form on the shelf. It is carved in Morocco from a single crystal block.
A central piece on the table
Due to its larger size, many people use it as a tabletop centerpiece. Placed in the centre of a dining table, in the corner of a coffee table, or on a console table, it creates a definite visual centre. The play of selenite's satin light
Due to the larger surface, the satin shimmer is even more spectacular. When light moves around the bowl (e.g. during the day from the window), constantly changing stripes appear on the surface. Caution and lasting care
Selenite is a soft mineral — water must NOT touch it. If dust gathers, you can wipe it with a dry soft cloth, and a fine brush will also pull dust out of the grooves. Due to the larger size, lift and clean it especially carefully — both the rim and the bottom can be fragile when dropped. Keep it dry and avoid damp rooms. With this care you can enjoy it in your home for decades.
