The lines of the selenite leaf bowl
This leaf-shaped selenite bowl is hand-carved from natural white mineral. The delicately curved leaf outline, the vein-like groove running down the centre and the smooth polished inner surface together create a calm, nature-near shape. The characteristic silky lustre and long fibrous structure of selenite bring the mineral's own beauty to the fore.
Why many customers love it
The leaf shape exudes a sense of closeness to nature, and in many homes it is exactly the piece that fits alongside plants, wooden elements and natural textiles. You receive a bowl that is atmospheric on its own, whether empty or filled. The soft white colour of selenite matches every shade, so you do not have to part with it even when the interior style changes.
How you can use it
On a dressing table it can hold rings and earrings. On a bedside table it gives a home to small jewellery removed for the night. In the living room on a bookshelf it can serve as a decorative holder for small minerals or pebbles. In the entrance hallway it can act as a tray for keys or a wristwatch. Many people also offer small treats from it to guests, almonds, pieces of chocolate.
Care and storage
Selenite is a soft stone, so handle it carefully. Never clean it with water, because water damages the mineral's surface and dulls the fine groove. Wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. Keep it where moisture cannot reach it and where it cannot fall. If dust gathers in the carved parts, you can gently clean it out with a soft brush.
Unique natural appearance
Every leaf bowl is hand-carved from natural stone, so no two are identical. The curve of the leaf, the shade of the mineral and the direction of the striation differ from piece to piece. You receive not a factory series item but a natural, handcrafted mineral, which is why it will keep its value and uniqueness for many years.
