This elongated, polished white selenite plate is used, in the tradition of crystal lore, for the energetic cleansing and "recharging" of crystals and jewellery. Its long shape lets several stones rest on it at once. The plate is decorated with chakra-coloured gemstone beads, secured with copper wire. It measures 17 × 3 cm.
About selenite
In crystal lore selenite is regarded as a stone of clarity, calm and purification, traditionally linked to the energetic cleansing of other stones. It is a soft stone with a silky sheen – in plain terms, a decorative, polished plate.
The chakra stones
The decorative minerals echo the traditional palette of the seven main chakras: red jasper, carnelian, golden quartz, green aventurine, sodalite, rock crystal and amethyst. So the plate is a unified, harmonious piece in colour too.
How it is used
Place the stones or jewellery you wish to cleanse on the plate and leave them there for a few hours. It is also decorative on a shelf, an altar or a bedside table.
Good to know
Selenite is a soft stone, so protect it from moisture and knocks; do not place it in water. Wipe clean with a soft cloth. Made with natural stone, the shade varies from piece to piece.
