What to watch for
Selenite is a soft mineral, and thinner parts can break easily. Avoid drops and knocks. The piece is intended purely for decoration; do not use it as a hand tool, and do not give it to children as a toy.
Storage and cleaning
Wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. Selenite cannot be washed with water and should not be stored in persistently high humidity. If you do not use it for a long time, wrap it in soft fabric and place it in a dry spot, preferably in a box.
