A small votive candle that calls intimate light into the home in the spirit of Archangel Gabriel. Tradition links this archangel to the seventh chakra (crown chakra), and its scent comes from patchouli, labdanum and frankincense essential oils.
Archangel Gabriel in tradition
In many traditions angels are known as messengers from higher realms. Archangel Gabriel – “Light of Clarity” – is, in tradition, associated with clarity, peace and the awakening of the higher self, and linked to the seventh chakra (crown chakra) (whose traditional colour is violet). In the tradition of angel candles, lighting your chosen archangel's candle is a way to invite that angel's blessing; many light it as a gesture of attention and gratitude, with goodwill toward themselves and others. The candle gives that mood a light; it promises no fact and makes no medical claim.
Fragrance and material
The votive candle is made of stearin (RSPO-certified plant-based palm wax from a sustainable source), set in recycled glass. Its scent comes from patchouli, labdanum and frankincense essential oils. It measures roughly 4.5 × 4 cm, with a burning time of around 16 hours. Its cotton wick burns with a steady, smoke-free flame. It is handmade in Indonesia under fair trade principles.
How to use it
Ideal for angel or chakra meditation, an evening wind-down, or a lovely small gift. It can also be collected as one piece of a full set of seven archangels, from the root chakra to the crown. Place it in a heat-resistant votive glass holder on a stable surface.
Good to know
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from flammable objects, children and pets.
