A small scented votive candle attuned to the 5th chakra, the throat chakra (Visuddha). The compact 4.5 × 4 cm form fits a votive or tealight holder, and is ideal for building up a little set in the chakra colours.
The throat chakra in tradition
In Eastern tradition the chakras are the body's subtle energy points, each paired with a colour and a quality. Tradition links the throat chakra with creativity and the colour blue. The candle evokes this theme — purely as a symbol, within a traditional frame — for meditation or creating a mindful moment.
Material and use
A wax candle scented with essential oils, in a blue tone; it has a shorter burn time than the large pillar candles, making it ideal for a single quiet occasion. It looks loveliest in a tealight or votive holder.
Good to know
Always burn a candle in a heat-resistant holder, on a stable surface, away from draughts and under supervision.
