A clear, blue-toned flame that makes it easier to find your words. This scented candle is made in the spirit of the fifth chakra, the throat chakra – evoking a mood of self-expression, an authentic voice and clear communication.
The throat chakra in tradition
The chakra tradition places the seven main energy centres along the spine. The fifth, at the throat, is known in Sanskrit as Vishuddha; tradition associates it with self-expression, communication, speaking one's truth and the creative voice. Its traditional colour is blue. This tradition pictures the centre as a gateway between inner truth and the outer world – the place where thought becomes sound, word and melody. The candle gives that clear mood a light; it promises no fact and no effect.
Material and design
The candle has a stearin/paraffin base with a fragrance composition suited to the chakra, set in glass. It measures roughly 20 × 3.7 cm and burns with a steady, quiet flame. The blue colour and fresh scent evoke the theme of the throat chakra, carrying the seven-chakra series forward as its fifth piece.
How to use it
Ideal beside singing, reading aloud, journaling, or preparing for an important conversation – anything where finding your voice is at the centre. The chakra candles are lovely as a series too: the seven centres can be followed from the red root chakra up to the violet crown. Trim the wick before lighting and set it on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Good to know
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from flammable objects, children and pets.
