Few fragrances are as iconic as Nag Champa. Its sweet-yet-earthy aroma has become tied, for whole generations, to meditation and to the atmosphere of yoga studios and home altars. This classic Satya format delivers the traditional recipe in hand-rolled masala quality.
The Nag Champa story
At the heart of the blend are the champa flower and sandalwood, rounded out with spices and resins. The floral sweetness and the woody, balsamic depth together create that distinctive soft, slightly powdery scent so many people recognise instantly.
Hand-rolled masala
A dense, fragrant paste, the masala, is rolled around each stick by hand. This gives the smoke a full, velvety body and an even, steady burn. One stick lasts roughly 45 minutes and easily scents a room.
When it shines
It suits a morning attunement, meditation, or a calm evening ritual alike. Tradition holds that the scent of champa and sandalwood helps you settle and turn the attention inward, which is how it became a classic companion to meditation.
Use and care
Light the coated tip, let it flame for a few seconds, then blow it out. Set it in a heat-resistant holder with an ash catcher, away from draughts and flammable objects. Keep unburned sticks sealed so their aroma stays fresh.
Every batch is made by hand, so the strength of the scent and the colour may vary slightly from stick to stick.
