This turquoise box holds 15 g of Satya incense sticks called Money Bank. Its scent is warm and aromatic, gently sweet with a hint of spice. The box is 22 cm long, and the sticks are made in India.
What Money Bank means
A money bank is a piggy bank. The name calls to mind the wish for plenty and for things to grow. That makes it a sweet little gift at New Year, for a new home or for a first day at a new job.
In Hungary, lentils are cooked on New Year's Day in the hope of money in the year ahead. This incense carries the same good wish in its name, so you can light it on New Year's morning too, beside a tea light.
A warm, spicy scent for cold days
Sweetness and spice blend in the scent, so it suits the home especially well in autumn and winter. If you like warm, spicy fragrances, this one is worth trying. As a gift, you can put together a small set with a tea light and an incense holder. If you are after an even deeper, warm scent, take a look at the Vedic patchouli and oudh incense.
Safely in its holder
Light the tip, blow out the flame and stand the stick in a heatproof incense holder. Don't leave it while it burns, keep a window open, and make sure the smoke does not reach children or pets. The holder's tray should run right under the stick, as ash falls along its whole length.
In the photos, the larger box is the outer pack. You receive the slim 15 g pack. The ingredient list shows vanillin, coumarin, Yara Yara powder and fragrance.
