A small, yet atmospheric night light
This night light is one of the smallest pieces in the salt lamp range, yet it gives the same warm, amber glow as its larger siblings. You simply plug it into the socket and switch it on with the built-in button — no separate cable or installation is required. The body plugs directly into the wall socket, with the salt crystal on top.
Just the right size for the hallway
The lamp is 11.5 cm wide and 5.5 cm tall, so it fits perfectly into the socket of a hallway in front of the bathroom, a bedroom outlet or one of the sockets in a children's room. It does not occupy shelf space, will not tip over, and you do not have to worry about a child knocking it down. It comes with CE and RoHS markings, so you can run it safely.
Halogen bulb, warmer light
The 7-watt halogen bulb in the E14 fitting lasts for around 35,000 operating hours — which means years of service if you leave it on every evening. The halogen light is warmer and more golden than an LED's, so it creates a more natural atmosphere in the hallway or children's room. Its consumption is low, so the long use does not strain your electricity bill.
What to use the salt crystal night light for
Most often, customers like you ask for it for a children's room, because the warm, soft light helps falling asleep and provides a point of orientation at night. It also serves well in a hallway in front of the bathroom for night-time trips, in the entrance or in one of the bedroom sockets. Many also place it in their meditation corner, where it works instead of a candle as a safer, more lasting light source.
Safety and care
The lamp does not heat dangerously — it can feel hand-warm after hours of operation. Never cover it, and keep it away from curtains and bed linen. Do not clean it with a wet cloth: use a dry microfibre cloth. When the halogen bulb burns out, you can replace it with a standard E14 7-watt halogen or LED bulb, whichever you prefer.
