Argentinian craft in small bundles
The Sagrada Madre Sahumito bundle is handmade in Argentina from natural ingredients, held together with a plant-based binder. Once the bundle has finished burning, only the scent of the herbs remains in the room. Each pack contains five small bundles, so a single purchase lasts for a long time.
What is inside a bundle
The inside of each bundle is made of cedar, laurel and eucalyptus, while the outer layer is White Sage. This combination is traditionally associated with the feeling of purification and a fresh start. A single bundle smoulders for around 60 minutes, giving you enough time to walk calmly through your home or chosen room.
When to light it
Many people use it after moving in, at the end of a thorough cleaning, or when closing a difficult chapter. You can also light it whenever you wish to take a short pause and watch the slow rising smoke. The small size is especially practical when you only want to refresh one room at a time.
How to use it safely
Hold the bundle over a heat-resistant dish, shell or bowl, light one end and then blow out the flame so that only embers remain. You can direct the smoke with a feather or with your hand. Never leave it unattended and keep it away from children and pets. After use, make sure the bundle has cooled completely before storing it.
Storing the remaining bundles
Keep the remaining bundles in a dry, cool place, in their cardboard box or a closed drawer. This way the scent of the herbs and the firm feel of the bundles will last, and you can take one out whenever you need it.
