This Sahumitos is a hand-tied smudge bundle that you light and then put out, leaving it to smoulder. This single piece is wrapped in white sage, the classic plant for clearing a space.
The bundle and white sage
The inner core is cedar, laurel and eucalyptus, while the outer layer is white sage leaves. The smoke is dense, green and balsamic. White sage is the classic plant of the smudging tradition; tradition ties it to calm, purification and quieting the mind. As a sacred plant, it deserves to be used with respect.
