This Sahumitos is a hand-tied smudge bundle that you light and then put out, leaving it to smoulder. This single piece is wrapped in Palo Santo, the holy wood.
The bundle and Palo Santo
The inner core is cedar, laurel and eucalyptus, while the outer layer is Palo Santo. The holy wood gives a warmly sweet, woody, faintly citrus smoke. Tradition ties Palo Santo to awakening inner strength and creating a serene, harmonious mood.
