This Sahumitos is a hand-tied smudge bundle that you light and then put out, leaving it to smoulder. This single piece is wrapped in copal resin, the classic resin of the Central American incense tradition.
The bundle and copal
The inner core is cedar, laurel and eucalyptus, while the outer layer is copal resin. The smoke is warm, sweetish and balsamic. Tradition ties copal to awakening inner strength and connecting it with a wider balance, and speaks of it as a magical, grounding aroma.

How to use
Light the end of the bundle, let it flame briefly, then blow it out so it begins to smoulder. Carry the smoke around the space over a heatproof bowl in a ventilated area. Never leave a burning bundle unattended.
