Before painting, it is worth wiping the piece with a soft cloth to remove dust. If you would like to keep the natural grain visible, you can also choose a translucent stain or coloured wax.

Yes, the piece can be glued to a wall with double-sided adhesive strips, or fixed onto a narrow wooden batten and hung up. Thanks to the 1-centimetre thickness it does not protrude much from the surface. For a more permanent fixing, wood-grade adhesive or a small nail can also be used, but care is needed because of the slim profile.
