What do I receive with my order?

You receive one handmade rustic wooden digit "2", made of Balinese albasia wood, 7 centimetres tall. Every piece is unique: the original grain and colour of the wood vary naturally. If you would like to lay out a house number, year or longer date, you can order further digits of the series separately — exactly as many as you need for the inscription.

What is it made of and how should I care for it?

The piece is made from albasia wood (rain tree wood), by hand on the island of Bali. The natural grain and colour of the wood vary from piece to piece — no two digits are completely identical. For cleaning, a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth is enough. Soaking in water is not recommended, as the wood may swell. Keep it away from radiators and direct sunlight, so the natural colour and texture last for a long time.

How can I display it?

The piece can stand upright on a shelf, or be fixed onto a narrow batten and hung on a wall. The 7 × 1 centimetre size does not protrude much, so it looks good on walls as well. You can even paint it in your own colour to give the inscription its own personal mood. It looks beautiful in a children's room, a family corner, or on a living-room bookshelf.
