A rudraksha bracelet of 21 polished seeds on an adjustable cord – the sacred seed of Hindu tradition for everyday wear on the wrist.
The rudraksha seed
Rudraksha is the hard, ridged seed of the Southeast Asian tree Elaeocarpus ganitrus; its name means "the tears of Rudra" in Sanskrit, and tradition links it to the god Shiva. The bracelet is made of five-faced (5 mukhi) seeds, regarded for thousands of years as a sacred aid to practice and devotion. The meaning attached to them is traditional, not a medical claim.
Finish and wear
The seeds are polished, so the surface is smoother and the touch more pleasant; on the adjustable cord it is a small, fine bracelet. The cord is adjustable, fitting comfortably up to about a 6,5 cm wrist. The seeds are natural, so their colour, size and shape vary slightly from one to the next.
Good to know
Keep it dry; the surface can occasionally be cared for with a little natural oil. Avoid harsh chemicals.
