Sound and character
The 65 cm round stand does not noticeably affect the monochord's own voice, but its stable, securely fixed construction lets the instrument's rich, long-sustaining tones radiate without interference. The precise fixing of the cross-bar with Allen screws ensures noise-free playing even during longer sound massages.
How to use
The stand is designed for playing while seated on a chair — the most common position during sound therapy work, group meditation or ceremony. The finely turned handles attach the stand to the monochord without tools, while the cross-bar is fixed with the included Allen key and screws. The playing angle of the monochord is continuously adjustable, so the desired tilt can be fine-tuned at any time. This version with the 70 cm cross-bar fits the Monolini and Monolina models.
Why this product
If you regularly use your instrument in full-day seminars or longer therapy sessions, a high stand for chair-seated playing relieves your back and shoulders. The 65 cm version with the 70 cm cross-bar is compatible with the Monolini and Monolina ranges — wider cross-bars can be ordered separately for larger monochords.
Care tips
- When fixing the cross-bar, check that the Allen screws sit firmly in place.
- Tighten the handles by hand and use the Allen key only for the cross-bar.
- The 65 cm round stand does not fit inside the Monolina carry bag; keep this in mind for transport.
- Store in a dry place and refresh the hardwax-oil finish once a year if it shows wear.
