A round bed in long-pile plush, about 60 cm across. The backrest is a big paw, with four brown toe pads on the fluffy cream and taupe surface. A raised rim runs round the padded base. The cover is polyester, the filling synthetic fibre, and it weighs 1 kg. It is made in China.
For pets that curl up
The round shape suits cats and small dogs that sleep curled up. The rim supports them all the way round, and they can settle into the hollow in the middle. Its long-pile plush feels soft and warm. The 60 cm size suits an average cat or a chihuahua or Yorkie-sized dog.
A 60 cm circle is roughly the size of a small round coffee table top. Measure the spot before you order. It fits a corner well, too: turn the paw backrest towards the wall so the open side faces the room.
The paw you'll recognise
The paw-shaped backrest is what sets this bed apart, and the cream and taupe tones keep it cheerful rather than garish. If you're looking for a present for a friend with a dog or cat, it's obvious who this one is for.
Caring for the plush
Hair works its way in between the long fibres. Brush or vacuum the bed now and then and it won't build up.
From vacuum bag to sleeping spot
Vacuum packing flattens the long pile as well. After unpacking, shake it out and smooth the plush with your hand. A few days in a warm room and it regains its shape.
The same bed also comes 70 cm across.
