The larger version of the paw bed, about 70 cm across. It is covered all over in cream and taupe long-pile plush, and both the rim and the backrest are padded. The backrest carries a big paw with four brown toe pads. Its cover is polyester, the filling synthetic fibre, and it weighs 1.36 kg. You get one bed, made in China.
When 60 cm is too small
Its diameter is 10 cm larger than the medium paw bed's. Choose it if your pet has outgrown a smaller bed, or if its head or paws hang over the edge while it sleeps. We recommend it for cats and small dogs, including a larger cat that no longer fits the 60 cm bed.
A 70 cm circle takes up real floor space, so mark out the spot before you order. Both paw beds share the same material and colours; only the size differs.
Colours that suit a home
The paw is cheerful, but the cream and taupe tones are understated. The bed won't look out of place in a smarter living room, and it fits in a bedroom too, if you like to keep your dog or cat beside you at night.
Hair in the long pile
Pet hair settles into the fluffy plush. Brush or vacuum it now and then and the bed stays tidy for longer. A damp rubber glove also lifts hair out of the dense pile well.
How does it regain its shape?
It comes vacuum-packed. After unpacking, shake it out, knead the rim and the backrest and leave it in a warm room for a few days. The creases smooth out in that time.
