What a bolster is for
A bolster is a densely packed, elongated cushion that supports a yoga practice. In restorative and yin yoga it takes on the body's weight, so the joints and muscles can release without strain. Well supported, the breath deepens, the shoulders soften and the practice turns inward.
OCS-certified organic cotton
The cover is made from OCS 100 certified organic cotton: the dyed outer layer is GOTS-certified organic cotton with a zip, and the inner cover closes with a drawstring. The filling is high-quality natural buckwheat hulls that hold their shape and mould to the body.
Material and size
It measures about 60 × 16 cm in a round shape, in Turquoise. The fresh turquoise brings the bright shade of water and sky into the practice space. The height can be adjusted over time by removing or adding filling.
How to use it
For restorative and yin yoga, chest-opening poses, supporting the knees or ankles, and as a comfortable sitting prop. A dependable choice for home practice and the studio alike.
Care
The cover can be removed and washed gently. Because of the natural shade of the organic cotton and the dyeing, the colour may vary a little from piece to piece.
