A little piece of living nature: this banded aragonite, in its raw, uncut form, honours the stone's origin. The raw piece keeps the stone's natural edges, fracture surfaces and original look — just as it formed in nature.

About banded aragonite

Aragonite is one of the natural crystal forms of calcium carbonate; in the banded variety, warm honey-brown and cream bands alternate, often with translucent layers. It is a softer stone, Mohs hardness about 3.5–4. It typically measures kb. 3–8 cm.

Banded Aragonite in tradition

Tradition knows it as a stone of stability and patient grounding; many associate it with calm focus. These meanings belong to crystal lore rather than medical fact — the stone's beauty and presence are a value in themselves.

Living with it

Its warm, banded pattern makes a pleasant, nature-near piece on a shelf; being softer, it is best kept from water and knocks. It also makes a good companion for meditation or quiet moments, and a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves the natural beauty of minerals.

Good to know

As a natural mineral, every piece is unique: colour, size, shape and pattern may differ a little from the photo — which is exactly what makes the stone you receive one of a kind. Wipe it clean with a soft, dry cloth, and avoid prolonged direct sunlight, heat sources and harsh chemicals; keep the softer stones from lasting moisture as well.
