Sound and character
The point of this rolling stool is that your movement does not sound. Carefully chosen, well-bearing transparent castors and the stable multi-layer ash core combine for quiet, smooth movement: when you change overtone positions, the monochord's voice stays in focus, not your motion. Ash gives a light, warm colour and a hard, abrasion-resistant surface — and fits beautifully into most therapy rooms.
How to use
The stool was designed specifically for reaching different overtone positions silently while playing a monochord beside a sound bed. It is easy to steer in any direction even while seated, without producing noise. Place a meditation cushion on top — this lets you tune the seat height to your body and adds extra comfort. If you would prefer a padded top, ask for the padded version.
Why this product
If you want a quiet, durable rolling stool with a naturally finished ash surface for sound massage work, this version brings Feeltone's professional standard with its tough wooden core and excellent castors. Built for long life and daily therapeutic use.
Care tips
- Keep the castors clean — threads or hair spoil silent rolling.
- Quietest on smooth, hard floors — noticeably harder to move on carpet.
- Never stand on the stool — injury hazard.
- Occasionally refresh the wood with a thin coat of hard-wax oil.
- If the seat is too low for you, use a thicker meditation cushion.
