Sound and character
At 35 cm, this drum sits between small and medium sizes — already noticeably deeper and wider in sound than the 30 cm, while still light and mobile. Thicker hide along the back and thinner along the belly give a single skin several voices: round and full in the centre, brighter and more percussive at the edges. The deeper frame extends sustain, and the fundamental tone has a calm, heartbeat-like quality. No two drums sound identical, since each hide carries its own pattern and thickness.
How to use
The 35 cm is a great all-round size for ritual drumming: comfortable to hold one-handed yet powerful enough to fill a room. Suitable for shamanic journeying, meditation, guided visualisation, song circles, yoga and therapy groups. Play it with the included leather mallet for a full ceremonial tone, or directly with your hands for finer rhythmic work.

Care tips
- Store at stable, moderate humidity — sudden dryness or moisture changes skin tension.
- Warm the skin with your palm before playing for a fuller tone.
- If the sound becomes very soft, place the drum briefly in a slightly drier spot to recover its tone.
- Never insert objects between the lacing — pinching hazard.
- For transport, use a matching padded bag.
