Stainless steel upper section, aluminium base
This chalice is 16 cm tall and 6 cm wide, made from two combined metals: the upper, liquid-holding section is stainless steel, while the stable base is aluminium. The two materials complement each other nicely – stainless steel is durable and easy to keep clean, while the aluminium base lightens the piece without sacrificing a stable centre of gravity. A pentagram engraved on the side adds a discreet, tasteful touch.
Meaning of the pentagram
The pentagram is a five-pointed star, one of the oldest symbols of human culture. For many it represents the balance of the four elements – earth, water, air and fire – and their connection with the fifth element of awareness. The engraving sits unobtrusively on the side, so the chalice looks good on a shelf even if you simply love it as a decorative object.
When can you use it?
The chalice is reached for in several situations. In home rituals it is filled with water, herbal tea or symbolic liquid to mark a quiet moment. Many people also use it as decorative storage: small pebbles, mineral pieces or dried flower petals find a home inside it. It also often appears on a shelf or in a tabletop arrangement, where its metallic shine plays beautifully against natural materials – wood, stone, candles.
Cleaning
The stainless steel upper section is easy to clean: rinse it with warm water and mild dish soap, then wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not soak the aluminium base in water for long periods, and avoid harsh scouring agents, so the surface does not streak. Clean the engraved pentagram gently with a soft brush or cloth so the pattern remains clearly visible.
Storage and care
Store the chalice in a dry, dust-free place – on a shelf or in a decorative box. If you do not use it for a while, it is worth covering it with a soft cloth to keep it from gathering dust. Stainless steel does not react to fingerprints, but if you wish to keep the bright shine, occasional wiping with a microfibre cloth works well. You receive a sturdy, lasting chalice that keeps its condition for many years.
