A delicate metal ring with a moon phases motif running across it and a warm orange sunstone at the centre. The adjustable band fits a range of finger sizes, so it goes on easily.
Sunstone and the moon phases
Sunstone belongs to the feldspar family and is made special by tiny platelets of hematite or goethite: in the light a golden-reddish shimmer (aventurescence) runs across it. Tradition knows it as a stone of joy and warmth. The moon phases motif depicts the moon's cycle, from new moon to full and back again – a symbol of rhythm and renewal. The warmth of the sun and the rhythm of the moon make a lovely contrasting pair. These are traditions, not medical statements.
Wear and care
The ring is an understated yet expressive piece that pairs well with moon- and sun-themed jewellery. Thanks to the adjustable band, no exact size is needed. Wipe it with a soft cloth and protect it from prolonged moisture and chemicals. Each piece is unique: the sunstone's shimmer and shade vary a little.
