A resting deer carved in mango wood
This three-dimensional decoration shows a deer lying calmly in the forest, hand-carved from sustainably sourced Indian mango wood and finished with bright enamel paint. At 23 x 20 cm it brings a quiet, woodland mood to mantelpieces, console tables and reading corners.
Hand-carved, individually finished
Mango wood is dense enough to hold fine antler and body detail without splitting, while remaining easy to shape. Every piece is carved and painted by hand, so the grain, the colour depth and the small marks in the enamel differ slightly from one to the next. You receive a piece with its own character — warm, natural and clearly handmade.
How to use it
Place it on a bookshelf, on a sideboard, on the mantelpiece beside candles or pine cones, or with a few dried branches and stones to build a small woodland still-life. The motif works as seasonal decoration in autumn and winter, and also stays at home in the room year-round.
Care and origin
Dust with a soft, dry cloth — do not soak. Keep away from radiators and strong sunlight to preserve the enamel colour. Made in India by traditional woodcarvers.
