A resting Buddha head with calm features that condenses inner stillness into a single moment. The statue is mounted on a black, square wooden stand, and its grey stone-look surface makes it a focal point in the room on its own — without loudly demanding attention.
Craft and material
The statue is the work of Balinese craftsmen from Ubud: it is made from a concrete structure with Jempinis wood elements. The concrete base provides stability and durability, while the wood adds a warm, natural character to the composition. The statue is mounted on a black, square wooden stand that balances the piece and lifts it in the room.
Detail and focus
The details are finely worked: the features of the face, the pose of the hands, and the overall posture all speak of attentive artistic work. The surface is matt, so it does not produce competing reflections with other objects and reads beautifully in both natural and artificial light.
Where to place it
The statue is a stand-alone compositional element in a room. We recommend it on top of a living room sideboard, on a study shelf, in a meditation corner, or on an entryway shelf. The 25-30 cm height stands on its own and does not require a large footprint — about a 25 × 15 cm free space around it is enough.
What it gives the room
The resting Buddha head represents a calm, inward-turned moment, and on its own it provides a focal point for the corner where you place it. The 30 cm height and 14 cm base together create a stand-alone yet compact presence. The grey stone-look surface does not compete with other colourful elements — it integrates with the rest of the room.
