Sound and character
The clear, gently humming overtone world of the Monolina is shaped by precisely calculated strings. When you switch back to original Feeltone strings, the instrument once again produces the layered tone the workshop intended. Strings from other manufacturers can disturb the order of the overtones and weaken the meditative, floating effect.
How to use
A full set change is appropriate when the strings have lost their tension stability or the sound has become dull. Plan the change for a calm moment, since the new strings need time to settle and stretch. During the first days you will need to retune more often than usual.

Care tips
- The bare ends are sharp and should be handled with care.
- The string end may snap out suddenly when unwound from the coil.
- Overstretching can cause the string to break and the loose end to cause injury.
- On loop-end strings, wire may protrude from the winding.
- Expect frequent retuning during the first days after the change.
