Why a reed diffuser is useful
A reed diffuser consists of a bottle of scented liquid and rattan reeds. The reeds absorb the fragrance and release it slowly and evenly into the space. You do not need to light a match or watch a candle, yet you receive a continuous, balanced scent background at home.
The character of Aqua Zen
The fresh, aquatic, slightly citrus and floral Aqua Zen creates a refined, calming atmosphere. It is not sweet or heavy, so it remains pleasant in the room for longer periods. It feels especially good in summer and spring when you long for freshness.
Where to place the diffuser
A living-room shelf, bathroom counter, bedroom chest of drawers or office desk are all good choices. Avoid direct sunlight and locations above a radiator, as these evaporate the fragrance more quickly and the liquid may run out sooner.
How to control the scent intensity
More reeds = stronger scent, fewer reeds = a more subtle background. Occasionally flip the reeds (every 1-2 weeks) so they release the fragrance more freshly. If the scent feels too strong, simply remove a few reeds.
How long does one bottle last
The exact duration depends on the size of the bottle and how many reeds you use. Generally one bottle lasts for several weeks or even months, so you receive a long-lasting investment for your home.
Caring for the Aqua Zen diffuser
Keep the bottle on a stable, level surface, away from children and pets. Occasionally wipe its outer surface with a soft cloth so that dust and condensation do not affect the purity of the scent. If the reeds clog or discolour, replace them with new ones. We recommend not pouring the bottle's contents into another container and not mixing it with other scented liquids, as this may change the character of the blend, with an unpredictable end result.
