Rhubarb is the returning perennial of old yards and gardens. Grown for its leaf stalks, from which we make compote, soup, jam. From the third year onwards it gives a truly rich harvest.
Growing
Sow in May–July. Row spacing 100 cm, plant spacing 120 cm, sowing depth 2 cm. Space-demanding perennial — once planted, bears for years in the same spot.
