Bohemia chives, also called snidling, is a cold-tolerant, perennial plant. Green foliage and beautiful purple flowers both decorate — works as a garden border too. Vigorous tillering, lots of green mass.
Growing
Sow in March–August. Row and plant spacing 30 cm, sowing depth 1 cm.
Fresh leaves chopped into körözött, cottage cheese, salad. The purple flowers are also edible — a special touch at dinner parties.
