The pack contains 50 amber 100 ml glass bottles with pump caps. Each bottle, including the pump, stands roughly 190 mm tall, with a diameter of about 52 mm at the shoulder. An empty bottle including the pump weighs around 110-140 g; gross pack weight is 0.1 kg per packaging unit.
Pump mechanism and dispensing
The pump head works on a closed spring system: a single press delivers approximately 0.5 ml of liquid, and the contents can be reached down to the bottom of the bottle via the inner tube. Air does not flow back into the bottle, which reduces oxidation in the remaining preparation. The pump head is lockable: for transport or travel it can be twisted into a depressed locked position. Before first use we recommend several priming presses.
UV protection of amber glass
Amber-coloured glass effectively filters out UV and the shorter wavelengths of visible light. For oily preparations and emulsions rich in plant oils, this protection is essential: under light, oils go rancid, the scent profile of essential oil components changes, and active ingredients degrade. Cleaning and maintenance
The glass body can be cleaned in warm, soapy water or in a dishwasher (the label-free version durably, with labelled bottles the print may wear over time). Rinse the pump by hand with warm water; for scent residue, use 70% isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry completely before refilling, so that water does not dilute the new contents. Country of origin: China.
