Sound and character
The D tuning is the deepest voice in the Monolina range: it offers a full, long-decaying bass and produces a clearly felt physical vibration. The overtone strings shimmer gently in the upper register, making this tuning particularly recommended for deep rest, grounding and inner stabilisation. Many love it for slowing the breath and easing anxiety.
How to use
Choose the D-tuned Monolina if you:
- Wish to create a deep, grounding atmosphere in individual therapy work.
- Are looking for accompaniment for evening meditations and pre-sleep settling.
- Want to use the bass vibration as a kind of massage during body and breath therapy sessions.
- Need a solid root tone when combining several instruments.
Why this product
The cherry-wood Cherry finish combined with the D tuning produces a particularly organic and warm sound. If you feel most at home in the bass register, or wish to experience the vibration of the strings as directly as possible, the D-tuned Monolina is an ideal choice. Despite its substantial sound, it remains compact and easy to carry.
Care tips
- Pluck the bass strings slowly and with light pressure to feel the resonance.
- Hold the instrument in your lap while seated, so the vibration travels through your body.
- Use the pentatonic templates to experiment with major and minor moods on the melody section.
- From time to time check and fine-tune the strings with the included accessories.
