Sound and character
The A tuning is overtone-rich, emotionally full and carries a slightly minor character. The 440 Hz A is the modern reference pitch, and much contemporary music is built around it. The Monolina in A creates a particularly beautiful, floating, inwardly turning atmosphere — ideal for inner journeys and emotional work.
How to use
The A-tuned Monolina can become your companion in:
- Accompanying emotional integration and therapy work.
- Deep meditations, when you wish to support inner listening.
- Self-reflective sound practices.
- Artistic, improvisational settings where the minor character matters.
Why this product
The deep, organic tone of the Cherry finish harmonises particularly well with the emotional character of the A tuning. If you are touched by the world of minor-key music, or you often work with emotional themes, the A-tuned Monolina will be an intimate, deep companion. Despite its 4.5 kg packed weight, it remains easy to carry.
Care tips
- Play long, patient strokes — let the overtones unfold slowly.
- Use the minor pentatonic template to create a deep, inward atmosphere on the melody section.
- Touch the wooden surface before and after use — it helps the instrument adapt to humidity.
- From time to time replace worn strings with the included replacements.
